Street Art in Barrio La Boca in Buenos Aires

We saw these music-oriented murals on our walk from the San Telmo neighorhood into La Boca

The La Boca neighborhood is well-known for its colorfully painted houses

many reflecting the bright colors of the Bombonera, the stadium where Boca Juniors play.

But the walls in the neighborhood also feature various murals, stautes and bas reliefs.

This mural adorns the outside of the Boca Juniors museum in La Bombonera.  I had had in mind to visit this museum, having very much enjoyed my visit to the Nou Camp museum in Barcelona.  In the end, though, there were just too many other things to do during our few days in Buenos Aires.

During our walk into La Boca from San Telmo, we passed a studio where metal sculptures were being made:
